On 18th July 2024, Healthwatch Tower Hamlets attended the Tower Hamlets Together Summer Fair 2024 at the Mile End Hospital Gardens.

The event was attended by Matthew, the Service Director at Healthwatch Tower Hamlets; Mari, the Research Manager; Phyo, the Patient Experience Officer; Shreya, the Enter and View Officer and Paula, our intern at the time.

On 7th December 2023, we visited Silk Court Care Home, located in Bethnal Green. Read on to see what we observed at the care home and find out more about Enter and View visits.

On 21st February 2024, Healthwatch Tower Hamlets published the Enter and View Report for the Goodman's Field Medical Practice, a GP surgery located in Aldgate.

We reached out to the practice in June 2024 as per our procedure policy, which requires Healthwatch to request an update from service providers 3-6 months after the publication of the report.

Our staff and volunteers engaged with local residents to find out about their experiences of cervical, breast and bowel screening and how these services could be made more accessible to help improve the uptake rate.
