How did you find out about the internship at Healthwatch Tower Hamlets?
I found out about the internship at Healthwatch Tower Hamlets through the Volunteering Fair at Queen Mary University of London.

What kind of things did you learn during your internship?
Throughout my internship, I gained skills in data entry, public speaking, communication and organisational ability. During events, I interacted with members of the borough and spoke about Healthwatch. The experience allowed me to become more confidence.

Did the internship improve your learning/confidence or knowledge in a specific area?
Yes, I feel more confident in my public speaking abilities now.

What did you enjoy the most about the internship?
What I enjoyed the most about my internship at Healthwatch Tower Hamlets was attending the community events and Enter and View Visits.

Has working with Healthwatch changed how you view health and social care services?
Yes, definitely. I now understand the importance of improving the health care services and the key role that the local voice plays in doing so.
