Healthwatch Tower Hamlets at the Women's Awards Ceremony 2025

On 29th April, Healthwatch Tower Hamlets attended the Women’s Awards 2025 hosted by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, celebrating female excellence and their remarkable achievements for International Women’s Day.

This event was attended by Healthwatch Tower Hamlets’ representatives Mari, Research Manager, Shreya, Enter and View Officer, Shashi, Community Engagement and Volunteers Support Officer and Khushi, our intern. Our representatives promoted the services available at Healthwatch Tower Hamlets to the local community and fellow organisations attending the event. Several organisations expressed a keen interest in collaborating with Healthwatch in the upcoming future.

The ceremony featured a wide range of award categories, including Women’s Advocate of the Year, Extraordinary Female Carer, Female Volunteer of the Year, Female Business Excellence, and outstanding Young Female of the Year. Each award celebrated the dedication, resilience, and impact of women within the community. 

As a token of appreciation, the winners were awarded a rejuvenating spa visit to York Hall-one of London’s oldest spas. The event was a proud and inspirational celebration of women shaping Tower Hamlets.
